Would you like to talk with astronauts in space?  Bounce signals off the moon?  Chat with the Vatican---or the South Pole?   Then attend this free introduction to Amateur Radio.  You can send a radio signal around the world for only a watt of power.  And in times of emergency, radio hams are often the only lifeline helping to provide food, shelter and restore vital services.  Hams are also ambassadors, experimenters, innovators, and public servants.  Your participation helps to further the art of wireless communications, protect our airways as a vital national resource, and have a lot of fun, too.  It's a hobby for all ages.  Come join us for this free event and learn how to become an Amateur Radio operator.

Location Village Green Community Center - Community Room, 26159 Dulay Road NE, Kingston, WA 98346
