COUNTRY PET SHOPPE
The Country Pet Shoppe is housed by what appears to be a small, quaint western cottage, but the interior seems to go forever. Stephanie Stebbing purchased For Pet's Sake in the Thriftway Shopping in 1998, changed the name and fulfilled her dream when she bought the current location and moved Country Pet Shoppe.
The business offers numerous services. The grooming business is thriving. Stephanie said they specialize in all natural pet food and treats which contributes towards healthier animals. One of the most unique features of this business is the special breeding room where smaller animals are raised. Stephanie said they also breed and raise birds. She is particularly proud of her fish assortment.
Stephanie grew up in California where she attended college and received a degree in Biology. She moved to the Northwest and worked as a pharmaceutical sales rep. She has always loved animals and feels all pets, whether fish, birds, dogs or cats, lead toward a less stressful life for their owners. She plans some expansion which would include pet massage therapy. Her husband is also an animal person and teaches biology at the junior high school.
Stephanie is also very community minded and one of the leaders of the annual Christmas program and as a member of the Chamber of Commerce. So, if you are looking for pet food, toys, treats and other animal accessories, need your pet groomed or just want to browse and watch the fish or birds, drop into Country Pet Shoppe.
