On Saturday, November 3rd , from 6:00 to 10:00 pm, the Kingston High School Band Boosters are sponsoring a Swing Dance and Silent Auction to raise money for the new Kingston High School Buccaneer Band Program. The Buz Whiteley Big Band is scheduled to perform as well as the newly formed Kingston High School Jazz Band. Themed “Get Your Kicks on Route 66,” this fun, community event will be the first large fundraiser held at the new Kingston High School in the Commons. The cost is $20 for adults and $8 for students. A wide variety of appetizers and desserts will be served. Many local businesses are providing goods and services to be included in the Silent Auction. Come browse the tables and find that perfect Christmas gift or listen & dance to the live music, all the while supporting the students in the KHS band!
