A CHRISTMAS CAROL
10/05/2008
December Saturdays 6, 13, and 20 and Sunday, December 14 at Wolfle Elementary School.
The Kingston Repertory Theater (formerly known as The Roving Players) and the Wolfle PTA present the family holiday classic "A Christmas Carol" in December at Wolfle Elementary.
This is the Charles Dickens' timeless tale of an old miser who must face Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet-to-Come, as they help to bring kindness to his otherwise cold heart. The Ghosts remind him of the man he used to be, the hard truth of what the world is today, and what will happen if he does not strive to be a better man. Set around Christmas, the most joyous day of the year, Scrooge realizes the sharp contrast of his own personality.
Scrooge is brought to life by Kingston's Scott Snively andd the show will also feature traditional and holiday carols performed by the 5th grade classes of Wolfle Elementary.
The show runs on Saturdays December 6-20 at 7:30 PM and one Sunday matinee December 14, at 2:30 PM.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 under 12. A family pack of 4 is $25.
Tickets are available through the Wolfle PTA, Peninsula Video, at the door or online from www.kingstonrep.com
A portion of all ticket sales will benefit the PTA.
