On Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Mike Wallace Park, the Kingston Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Port of Kingston and the Country Pet Shoppe, is proud to present the first annual PAW-Fest. This event will bring dog lovers and their dogs out together for a day of fun, entertainment and education.
It is an opportunity to demonstrate what Kingston offers in the way of activities folks can get involved in with their dogs. PAW-Fest will also benefit local business owners who offer pet related products or services in our community by providing them with a venue to introduce or promote their businesses. This event is one that will appeal to local residents and visitors alike.
Country Pet Shoppe is providing all of the planning and organization as well as the labor and absorbing almost all of the expenses for PAW-Fest. We will charge a small fee to vendors selling goods or promoting services at this event which will help cover some of our costs. Based on the nature of the businesses and likely event sales the fees charged will be minimal. We will not be charging an entrance fee.
