Bringing in the New Year and bringing in our third year, the Kingston Art Gallery will host the work of the students of Marcia Randall DeBard from her Shabala Studio in Eglon. Upstairs in the gallery "loft" you will find 25 pieces in a broad range of media done by students six years old through adult.

Marcia says the students are honored to be showing with the professional artists of the Gallery. "It's a big deal." Their reception will be on January 12, our usual Second Saturday Gallery Night 5 - 8pm. There will be music, refreshments and, of course, the art by the cooperative gallery's artists and the Shabala artists.

Four new artists have joined the Kingston Art Gallery in the last several months adding ceramics, stained glass, paintings and pencil drawings. With three Art Walks in as many months, a growing Gallery and artists learning new skills in classes, our lives are enriched with the art so available here.
