A brief history of NK Options Mystery Dinner Theater (MDT) MDT evolved from our desire to put the fun back into fundraising. Every year alumni students and parents return to help current families in the kitchen, on the floor, and in the play. Parents and children spend hours together designing sets, rehearsing shows, preparing food, and promoting our cause, all the while bridging generations and building community.       Over the years MDT has grown into a multi-night, multi-course culinary and entertainment extravaganza that delights hundreds of patrons. It is, indeed, a lot of work, but well worth the effort. Last year, we netted more than $20,000, all of which goes toward enriching our program for current students and to funding scholarships for new Options kindergarteners who would otherwise be unable to attend full-day classes.  For more information, contact MDT producer Dorothy Michak at (360) 297-3923.
